Dr. Carla Case McCorvey, DVM

Owner and Veterinarian

Dr. Case McCorvey is the 4th generation in the Case family to practice veterinary medicine in the 112-year-old Savannah vet hospital. She graduated from the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine in 1999. Her husband David is a Certified Public Accountant here in Savannah. They are the proud parents of two children, a girl and a boy as well as Coffee and Kit Kat (cats) and a yellow Labrador Retriever named Grace.

Dr. Jerry L. Case, DVM

Previous Owner/Veterinarian/Retired

Dr. Case is a third-generation Veterinarian in Savannah. He graduated from the University of Georgia in 1975 and then returned to his hometown to practice. He served as President of the Georgia Veterinary Association in 1996 and is very active in the community as well. Dr. and Mrs. Case have been married since 1968 and have two daughters and sons-in-law, Laura and Matt Wiley and Carla and David McCorvey. Grandchildren include three grandsons, Cameron and Grant Wiley, Carson McCorvey, and one granddaughter, Amelia McCorvey. Although not actively seeing clients at this time, Dr. Case is behind the scenes in the administrative and management portion of the hospital as well as a mentor to our veterinarians. Dr. and Mrs. Case enjoy their beloved Jack Russel Terrier named Pearl.

Dr. Amanda Coleman, DVM

About Dr. Coleman

Dr. Amanda Coleman has been a part of the Case family since 2018. She was born and raised in John’s Creek, GA. She received her undergraduate degree in Wildlife Science from the University of Georgia. She then attended Midwestern University in Glendale, Arizona to obtain her DVM. Dr. Coleman enjoys dentistry, preventative medicine, and strengthening the human-animal bond. A Georgia native, Dr. Coleman found the perfect fit close to home on the east coast in Savannah. She is a huge UGA and Atlanta Braves fan and enjoys tennis, being on the water, exploring the low country, and spending time with her three fur babies, Daphne (cat), Munson (the most perfect mutt), and Roux (GSP).

Victoria Torres, DVM

About Dr. Torres

Dr. Victoria (Tori) Torres is a 2017 graduate from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine and completed her clinical year training at LSU Vet School. She is a Pennsylvania native but has strong family ties to Georgia. She is excited to join the Case veterinary team and be close to family. She has a strong interest in nutrition and is pursuing her advanced certificate in traditional eastern Chinese medicine food therapy. She also enjoys behavior, internal medicine, and surgical cases. In her spare time, she enjoys camping/hiking and board gaming. In Louisiana, she dedicated a lot of her free time helping with the philanthropic efforts of her Mardi Gras krewes. She hopes to find some new local organizations to get involved with. Her favorite thing about veterinary medicine is improving the lives of community members by bettering the lives of their furry friends.
